Claire Hedley, Commercial Development Manager

Claire HedleyClaire joined bSolutions in August 2009 and is responsible for liaising with clients and college experts to ensure the effective management, development and delivery of bSolutions training courses.

After initially working and gaining qualifications in journalism, Claire changed to customer and sales focused roles early in her career and now boasts over nine years experience in commercial development, customer service and sales. Having held management positions with local, national and international organisations to include Thorpe Molloy Recruitment, SITEL Ireland, Microsoft and Dunnes Stores, Claire offers clients a genuine appreciation of how training should translate into day to day work practice.

Lorraine Mutch, Commercial Development Administrator

Lorraine joined bSolutions in February 2005 and is the key point of contact for all delegates attending training courses.  Lorraine is responsible for the administration and coordination of courses and is very much ‘the hub’ of the bSolutions office.

With over eleven years experience in administration and coordination coupled with her HND in Administration and Information Technology, ILM and ECDL qualifications, Lorraine is the ideal person to keep the bSolutions office and the delegates organised. Lorraine delivers a customer service that is second to none, ensuring that each bSolutions delegate receives a warm welcome and all of the information and support they require.

Belinda Kennedy, Commercial Development Executive

Belinda started work with bSolutions in August 2011 and brings valuable experience of working with SMEs to the team. She is highly motivated and enthusiastic about maintaining and building on the strong relationships the College has with commercial clients.

Throughout her career to date Belinda has gathered a wealth of experience: she has worked on large scale projects for Aberdeenshire Council as Modernisation Liaison Officer dealing with contractors and tenants and, more recently, as Communities Development Officer at the University of Aberdeen. There she developed links with learning providers and organisations throughout the North East and Highlands and Islands to encourage participation in Further and Higher Education.

Through these projects Belinda has implemented solutions that work for those involved and she hopes to continue this success into her role at bSolutions. Belinda also spent some time managing her own businesses and so understands the budgetary constraints that can sometimes hinder smaller businesses to provide the right level of training for their staff at a cost they can afford.
