Funding for Flexible Training Opportunities

Skills Development Scotland (SDS) has announced a new match funding programme, Flexible Training Opportunities, which aims to help small Scottish businesses to invest in learning and development opportunities for their employees.

The focus of the programme is to support learning activity which promotes improved workplace productivity, helping companies to increase organisational resilience through this period of economic recovery. 
Skills Development Scotland will provide a financial contribution to 5000 businesses which meet the criteria, of up to £500, to encourage investment in staff training. This is a 50/50 match funding scheme which will enable up to 10 members of staff to undertake a training programme.

Companies can apply for Flexible Training Opportunities funding if:
