Includes the following:
- Introduction to basic construction and principle of operation of control valves.
- Flow lifts characteristics of control valves: Linear, Quick opening and Equal percentage.
- Comparison of installed and inherent flow characteristics of control valves.
- Classification of control valves, different types of control valves and their applications.
- Installation and environmental requirements.
- Calibration of control valve positioner.
Description: This course is designed for non-instrumentation personnel to gain a basic understanding of control valves.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course.
