Course Content:
Includes the following:
- Introduction to basic temperature definitions, units, scales and laws
- Working principle and operation of temperature transducers e.g. different types of thermometers, RTD, thermocouple and thermisters
- Installation and environmental requirements.
- Use of temperature calibration test equipment
Description: This course is designed for non-instrumentation personnel to gain a basic understanding of temperature measurement systems.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course
