Course Content:
Includes the following:
- Introduction to basic flow definitions, units, scales and laws.
- Working principle and operation of flow transducers e.g. orifice, venturi, turbine and oval gear meters.
- Installation and environmental requirements.
- Use of flow calibration test equipment.
Description: This course is designed for non-instrumentation personnel who require a basic understanding of flow measurement systems.
Prerequisites: No previous experience or knowledge required.
Target group: Non instrumentation personnel who would benefit from a basic understanding of flow measurement systems.
Additional Notes: This course can be delivered at one of our outreach centres or on your premises.
Venue: This course can be delivered at one of our learning centres across Aberdeen city or shire or at a suitable location of your choice.
