Includes the following:
- Definition of COSHH and introduction to current legislation
- Nature of substances in use in the workplace including types and categories of substances
- Precautions to be observed when handling substances in the workplace including control measures, their purpose and use
- Health issues and monitoring
- Exposure limits and emergency procedures
Description: This course is designed for any employee who needs to understand and communicate the requirements contained within COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Regulations and to raise awareness of specific chemical hazards in the workplace.
