European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
Certification: Delegates will be awarded with a British Computer Society ECDL Certificate on successful completion of the 7 course assessments.
Duration: This course is flexible and can be achieved through a combination of guided study and tutor support.

- Basic concepts of IT
- Using the computer and managing files
- Word processing
- Spreadsheets
- Database
- Presentations
- Information and communication
Description: This course is aimed at staff who use IT in their daily work and enables employees to demonstrate and develop competence in basic computer skills.
Additional Notes: All practical work carried out using Microsoft software. The college has a suite of laptops which can be used to facilitate ECDL tuition/support if ECDL training is required in-house. This training programme can be delivered in a variety of different methods – on-line, guided study, tutorial groups and in a classroom situation, dependent on the needs of individuals and organisations.
