Description: This course is designed to provide delegates with the mandatory level of knowledge required for competence in the use of VHF/HF/MF radiotelephony, telex, satellite procedures and equipment used commercially in the GMDSS. This course is mandatory for vessels over 45m or vessels over 24m built after February 1999, as per MCA.

Prerequisites: Candidates must bring photographic ID (driving licence or passport) on the first day, be 18 years of age and bring 2 passport size photographs.

Additional Notes: Please note: day 9 is exam day and dependant on delegate numbers may continue until 9.00pm

Venue: This course is delivered at the main College campus in Fraserburgh, however may also be delivered in client premises, subject to equipment meeting current Health and Safety legislation.
