Efficient Deck Hand (EDH)

- Practical rigging & splicing
Description: This course provides candidates with the required underpinning knowledge and practical skills leading to the MCA examination undertaken on course completion.
Prerequisites:
ILO/STCW '95 approved.
PPE is required.
Delegates must be at least 17 years old and have had 12 months sea time on deck. They need to hold the following certificates (or in process of obtaining them):
- Personal Survival Techniques (STCW 95)
- First Aid (STCW 95)
- Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (3 day) (STCW 95)
- Medical Eng 1
- Steering or Navigation Watch Rating Certificate

Venue: This course is delivered at the main College campus in Fraserburgh, however may also be delivered in client premises, subject to equipment meeting current Health and Safety legislation.
