bSolutions is the commercial training division at Banff and Buchan College. We deal with the training and development needs of a wide range of industry sectors including engineering, hospitality, care and business. Our key aims are to deliver excellent training and to constantly innovate and review our programmes to ensure they meet with the fast changing requirements of industry. We offer accredited courses which are recognised both nationally and internationally.

Hydraulics and Refrigeration
Our strengths and expertise in this area have been forged from our links with the fishing industry, enabling us to develop modern training applications. This is especially so for the subsea industry where personnel need to have a thorough working knowledge of the equipment they use to allow maintenance when specialists are unavailable.
Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Our long experience in the engineering field and our high specification equipment means we can offer a wide range of courses. This category contains our most popular short courses but remember that we are happy to design a bespoke course specifically for your individual training needs.
Mechanical Engineering & Welding
The college retains strong links with industry ensuring that our trainers deliver up-to-the-minute programmes using high specification tools and the latest techniques. Training is usually delivered at our Fraserburgh campus but may be delivered in client premises if suitable equipment is available.
Nautical
Our nautical training team provides training for the marine industry nationally and beyond. In addition to those listed here, we also offer courses in a range of safety areas, such as Survival, Fire Fighting and Stability Awareness, through the College's partnership with North East Fisherman's Training Association (NEFTA).
Construction
The content of our courses is responsive to industry needs. Training is typically delivered in the main campus in Fraserburgh where we have the high specification equipment necessary for comprehensive training. We can also deliver customised techniques in client premises when appropriate resources are available.
